Q. Who can play at actionpoker.com?A. Our software is free and available for anyone. However, when it comes to playing for real money, and due to the Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act, we no longer accept deposits from the US. Q. How do I start playing at actionpoker.com?A. Please begin by downloading the software off of our web site by clicking on the download button. When the downloading starts, you will be prompted to either “Save” or “Open” the program. If you choose to Save it, Save it on your desktop, so that it is easy for you to locate it. If you decide to Open the download, the installation process will begin upon completion of the download. If you decide to Save the program to the desktop, run the program to begin installation after the downloading has finished. If you encounter any problems during the download or installation process, please contact Customer Support immediately by clicking on the Live Help button or by sending an email to Support@actionpoker.com. For more detailed information on how to get started, please refer to our section Signing in / Account creation. Q. I have now finished the installation. How to do I get to the games?A. Once you have completed the installation, the software will need to upgrade to the most current version. This process will take place immediately upon completion of the installation. Please make sure that you do not stop this upgrade process at anytime, as doing so will result in a corruption of the software and will require you to uninstall the program and then reinstall it. Once you have upgraded the software, it will take you to the lobby and show you the list of games. Q. I submitted my registration but I didn’t get a confirmation email. Does that mean that I can’t start playing?A. No, the confirmation email is simply to verify your account information; this is needed in order to start playing with real money, but in order to start playing, you can go to the play tables and practice before you get the confirmation e-mail. Once you receive your confirmation email and click on the link, your account will be verified and you will be ready to proceed with real money transactions. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 15 minutes of completing your registration, please click on the Live Help button to be connected to a Customer Support Representative or send an email with a brief description of the problem to Support@actionpoker.com. In actionpoker.com , we work vigorously to resolve all customer issues and concerns in a timely manner. Q. If I don’t want to receive spam, can I enter a fake email address?A. It is very important that you enter accurate information in your account order for us to provide you with our excellent service. We have realized that the best way to communicate with our clients is through email. If you are concerned about confidentiality regarding your personal information, please read our Privacy Policy. Q. I have registered for my account but I cannot login.A. There could be a number of reasons why you cannot login. The first one is entering your password incorrectly; passwords are case sensitive, which means that if you originally entered your password with capital letters, you must re-enter it exactly how you typed it the first time. The second reason is entering an incorrect user name. Please make sure that you are using the exact same user name you provided when you registered. If you are still having trouble logging in after making sure the previous reasons do not apply, please click on the Live Help button, and you will be immediately connected to a Customer Support Representative, or send an email to Support@actionpoker.com Q. Can I create an account on this computer for my mother/brother/spouse?A. Yes, but for your protection, actionpoker.com ’s software has security built into it that only allows to register a maximum of three accounts for different users in the same computer. Q: How can I change my account Sign-in Name?A. Unfortunately, actionpoker.com does not allow users to change their sign-in names. Due to security reasons, this feature is not available. However, under special circumstances such as having used your real name or being harassed by other players, please send an email to Support@actionpoker.com, and we will consider your request. Q. How can I change my password?A. You are able to change your password from the game lobby by clicking on “Options”, then “Change Personal Information.” Your default web browser will then open. Once there, you will be asked to provide your existing Password and your desired new Password. Q. What do I do if I forget my password?A. On the Sign-In screen, write your sign-in name and then click the help button. That will prompt a small window where you write your email address. After you hit submit, a temporary password will be sent to the email address you provided. It is very important that you change your password immediately after accessing your account, in order to assure the security of your account.
